The National Institute for Legislative Studies (NILS) was established early in 2011 following the enactment of the enabling legislation. NILS is designed to be a centre of excellence providing technical support to the work of the National Assembly through research and publications on democratic governance, and legislative practice and procedures.
Job Title: Information Officer
Location: Abuja
Responsibilities
*. Supervise and provide practical training to subordinates
*. Develop and organize linkages with national and international media organization.
*. Media monitoring to determine matters that affect the Institute. Also, required write feature articles and booklets/pamphlets relating to the institute’s activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
*. Possession of a Master’s degree from a recognized university, preferably in the area of arts, social sciences with at least 3 years cognate experience.
*. Or direct appointment of candidate possessing any of the qualification for information assistant plus 3 years cognate experience.
